Apple and Oat Scones with Cinnamon and Nutmeg
I stepped on the scale today to find out that I have gained a considerable amount of poundage in the last few months. This was really no surprise because I could feel my pants were getting tight but the number confirmed it. So, naturally I consoled myself by making these scones.

2011 was a good year. Josh and I finally finished our one year of living apart. We moved into our new place and had a few visitors (1, 2, & 3). I finished residency and we took our long awaited trip to Europe. I ran a 10K and lived to talk about it and got my first real job. I learned that sometimes it’s best to let go.
