I think I love weekends so much because its 100% acceptable to be lazy.  Nothing is really expected of you and its not a big deal to sleep in until 10am.  Do that on a random Tuesday and people will be like “geez, get a job slacker”.    Unrelated, Lake Michigan was rowdy today.

This weekend, we had our very first visitor since we moved to Milwaukee!  Andrew is Josh’s friend from Boston and they rode on the Cambridge bike team together.  It was so nice having him here and one night, over beers and mac n cheese, we came up with a brilliant business idea.  I’ll tell you guys someday, until then, the suspense will drive you crazy…..

When Josh and Andrew were on a bike ride, I was hanging out with Boston, planning what I would do for the day and thought, I should meet up with some friends for lunch.  Then it suddenly occurred to me that I don’t have any friends in Milwaukee.  In fact, I don’t know anyone in Milwaukee except Josh.   I am, as you might say,  ”friendless in Milwaukee”.  Which sounds sad but really isn’t terrible because I’m not exactly the type of person that needs to be around people all the time but I’m thinking I should join something to meet some people.   Running club maybe?  Anyway, so what I did instead was hang out with my only other friend I know in Milwaukee.  Boston.  

He looks thrilled.  So, we went on the mother of all walks and I took a ton of pictures.  

Also, Josh shaved his beard today.  I don’t even recognize him!  But he is still obviously crazy handsome.
